The end is near.

Well we arrived in Texas yesterday saturday 15th. We leave on Monday night to head home. We have seen and experienced heaps on this trip. And are really sad it's at a end. But we are thankful for the time we have had.

The home of elvis

Hello memphis,
We arrived here on Wednesday the weather is much nicer compared to the visit 6 years ago. Of cause we went back to Graceland and this rekindled a few feelings of sadness as nanny I visited here about 8 years ago :(. It was nice that I had John and the boys with me this time. So after that we went back to the hotel for a snooze when we awoke we headed off to Beale street. And spent about 2 hours wondering up and down the street. The boys got talking to a few police officers.

The home of country and western music

Hey there rockers.
We have arrived the heart of C & W music Nashville TN. Unfortunately we only had a night here. So we didn't get to do a whole lot. We didn't see and c&w singers lol.

Hello friends :)

We arrived in Knoxville on Monday. It is very scenic set in smokey mountains it's just what I imagined it to look like. Here lives some friends we met on the freedom of the seas. Tim,Cheryl and their 7 beautiful kids. John decided that we just had to visit them once more before we left to say good bye.
We were welcomed warmly and they had the afternoon all planned for us. We went for a bush walk to a observation deck to get a good look at the smokey mountains. It is a beautiful sight, And you can imagine just how beautiful it is in winter. Then we went back to their home where cheryl had cooked tea for us. Oh and we can't not say something about Tim and his bbqing awesomeness. The stake was perfect. We were sad to leave as we now see Tim,cheryl and family as part or our american family and hope to see them next year where we r planing on cruising together on the beautiful freedom of the seas.

Atlanta Georgia.

Today we arrived in Atlanta. It is a very pretty city with plenty to do. But as we only had one night we decided to do the most important thing. The coke factory. We learnt about the advertising of coke from the birth till now,The manufacturing, got to meet some of the charters of coke and got to taste over 63 products that coke produce all over the world.

Today we spent the day driving around Orlando to heaps of shopping locations buying some goodies and a couple of presents for close friends and family.
Nothing much to report other than the fact that the Amex has almost melted hehehe. Oh well...
Tomorrow we will probably head off to another day at Universal Studios, Thursday night we will be going to Universal's Halloween Horror Night from 6pm to 1am...I think Friday will be a sleep in day as a result.

A Day at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter...

Hi Everyone,
Today we spent the day at the WWoHP. We came here last year too. This year we have arrived a month later which means there is minimal waits for rides and the weather is much better.
We had a nice big lunch at 'The Three Broomsticks' and drank heaps of Butterbeer. They have introduced a new frozen slushy style Butterbeer and it is the best!

Leaving the lovely Freedom of the Seas...sad :-(

Today, after 8 days of cruising the Caribbean, we had to pack up and leave our floating home. It was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life, I am sure the rest of the family will take home great memories also of our time cruising together.
Here are some pics of this morning as we berthed in Port Canaveral:

Freedom-ice - in the on board ice rink...

Yes, the Freedom of the Seas has its own ice rink as well. There was an ice show called Freedom-ice.

St Maarten, Netherlands Antilles...

Another of our ports of call was St Maarten, or Sint Martin. It is a main island where half is occupied by the French and the other half the Dutch. We were on the Dutch side.
Kevan and I went to Maho Beach at the end of the runway of Princess Juliana Airport to do some plane-spotting
