Freedom-ice - in the on board ice rink...

Yes, the Freedom of the Seas has its own ice rink as well. There was an ice show called Freedom-ice.

St Maarten, Netherlands Antilles...

Another of our ports of call was St Maarten, or Sint Martin. It is a main island where half is occupied by the French and the other half the Dutch. We were on the Dutch side.
Kevan and I went to Maho Beach at the end of the runway of Princess Juliana Airport to do some plane-spotting

St Thomas, US Virgin Islands...

One of our ports of call was the lovely St Thomas. This is the shopping capital of the Caribbean. Great deals on heaps of stuff we don't really need.
Here are some pics of our time in St Thomas:

A day at sea, in the Caribbean...

Below are some pics of us out and about on the ship. There is heaps to do and plenty of ship to explore. This ship is massive at 160,000 tonnes, 14 decks and is as long as the Eiffel Tower is tall. It is amazing.
Now for some pics:

Coco Cay, Bahamas

We have arrived in The Bahamas at an island called Coco Cay. It is a lovely small island surrounded by beautiful clear water and soft sands.
We had to be transferred to the island by Tenders.

Our stateroom on Freedom of the Seas...

Hi All,
Our stateroom was a Family Ocean View at the very front of the ship. It had two large bedrooms, a large sitting area with lounges and a bathroom. We also had 2 x LCD TVs and a few wardrobes and a fridge. It was a great location on Deck 8, just under the navigation bridge. The last pic is the view from each of the 3 large windows in our stateroom.

Aboard Freedom of the Seas...

Today we boarded the big and beautiful 'Freedom of the Seas' for our 8 day adventure from Port Canaveral to the Caribbean.
