Hi All,
It is 9.30am Sunday here in Dallas and it looks like it will be a nice warm day.

We are having breakfast now and watching the news, which is showing lots of info about the Texas fires and the heavy rains that are expected.

It's 1.40am (4.40pm in Canberra) here in Dallas and we are all up watching America's Funniest Videos. Trying to keep everyone quiet while laughing isn't easy!! :-)

Today we will relax at the hotel, tomorrow we will start the trip across to Florida, first night in Alexandria, Louisiana, 5 hrs away.

We have arrived in Dallas, TX, USA

Howdy partners,
We not long ago arrived in Dallas following a loooong 15 hr non-stop flight. Premium Economy seating made it tolerable (compliments of Qantas).
We dropped in to Wal-mart on the way to the hotel to get some goodies, now we are at the hotel. Very tired now and its only 7.15pm!

We are packing up and getting ready to board for the flight to Dallas.
Flight time is 16.5 hrs non stop.

Back at our favourite place, the Qantas First Lounge.
Just ordered brekky in the Neil Perry Restaurant. Mmm yum.
Tarin has been booked in for a facial in the Qantas Spa and I will have a neck n shoulder massage :-)

Well, the day has finally arrived, we are at Canberra Airport, all checked-in, now sipping coffee in the Qantas Business Lounge.
We board for Sydney in around 15mins.
Will write more once in Sydney.
